Ribbon Cable Summary Youve connected the floppy, hard drive, and CD-RW ribbon cables. Each cable can be pushed out of the way so that it doesnt hit fans, the mainboard, etc. Figure 101 shows pushing cables into the empty 5.25 bay area. Its good to have your cables out of the way of anything that gets especially hot, such as heatsinks. Some people will bundle their cables together to make the inside neater, but most builders just let all the cables hang out and have a good time.
