Troubleshooting The System Overall

This section of the Troubleshooting Expert is for diagnosing problems with the system that do not seem to be associated with any specific component. This includes overall system problems, error messages that seem to implicate the internals of the PC, and so forth. If you are having a problem related to a specific component of the PC, such as the hard disk drive or the video card, you're better off looking for help in this section. If you can't get the system to boot, please use this area instead.

Warning: Please make sure to read the site warnings before working on your system.

Note: Please read this section for steps you should try first when troubleshooting.

Please select the type of problem you are having in the index on the left.
