[ The PC Guide | Troubleshooting and Repair Guide | The Troubleshooting Expert | Troubleshooting Specific Components ] Troubleshooting Keyboards This section discusses troubleshooting of problems with keyboards or related to them. Keyboards are for the mostpart relatively simple devices, and except for some of the fancy ones that include other peripherals (such as scanners) they are cheap enough to be almost considered "disposable". Since keyboards are highly personal in terms of feel (one person's "excellent" keyboard may be someone else's "junk") you may want to spend a fair bit of time trying to fix a keyboard that you particularly like. On the other hand, most generic keyboards cost less than $20, so if one isn't working, buying a new one usually makes more sense than attempting a repair. Please choose the description that describes your problem.
