Boot TS - Power Problem Unrelated to Protection Devices

Explanation: You have a problem with power to your PC. You either are not using a power protection device or it has been shown not to be the problem.

Diagnosis: The power problem is somewhere further down the power "line" from the socket to the PC.

Recommendation: Check the PC power cable. Make sure that it isn't loose or damaged. Replace the cable with another one; many electronic devices use the same kind of cord. Does the power supply work now?
