Boot TS - Power Socket Not Functioning

Explanation: A device that should be working doesn't when put into this socket.

Diagnosis: There is some sort of electrical power problem in the socket itself. If the PC was working before, this is probably a blown fuse or thrown circuit breaker. Rarely, the socket itself may be bad and another socket on the same wall may work.

Recommendation: You will need to correct the electrical problem, whatever it is, before you can use your PC in this location. This may require consulting an electrician or a building superintendent.

Note: If there was a failure in the electrical supply to the house or office, be on the lookout for problems with either the power protection device you are using, or the PC's power supply, that might have been caused by the problem with the electricity.
