Boot TS - Neither Floppy Disk Nor Hard Disk Boot

Explanation: The system is hanging up completely as it tries to boot the operating system. There is no activity on any drives.

Diagnosis: In addition to not being able to find the floppy disk, the system cannot find a hard disk to boot from. This may be normal if you have no hard disks in the system right now or if the hard disk is unformatted.

Recommendation (do both):

• Troubleshoot the floppy disk drive; and
• Troubleshoot the hard disk (unless you know that there are none in the system or they are unformatted).
