Maximum Memory Support
The chipset dictates the maximum amount of RAM you can have on the motherboard. For modern systems, this can be as low as 64 MB, or as high as 4 GB. This number can be higher (in some cases much higher) than the maximum amount of memory that can be cached, and this is something to be aware of.
