BIOS Settings - Security / Password Settings
This section lets you set security passwords to control access to the system at boot
time and/or when entering the BIOS setup program. Some systems have a single password,
while many newer ones now have two: a supervisor and a user password.
Warning: If you set a
password on your system, make sure you write it down in at least two places. If you lose
the password you will be locked out of your own system, and then you will have to resort to
techniques like these. :^) For most users, a password is unnecessary. In a shared
office environment, it can be very helpful however, to control access to the PC.
