Media Warranty and Returns
To keep costs to a minimum and reduce wasted time, I will not accept returns on Disk Edition orders. Since the entire contents of the Disk Edition are available online for unlimited perusal, you should pretty much know exactly what you are getting when you order. Bear in mind that the Disk Edition is not updated as frequently as the online version however. I will of course answer any questions about the Disk Edition that you may have; please check the FAQ first.
I will work with users to address problems with downloading the Disk Edition, to make sure that everyone who orders it is able to get a copy working on their machine. Similar, I will warrant the usability of CD-ROM versions for a period of 30 days from the day of shipment. Please let me know if you have problems with the CD working on your system as soon as possible and I will do what I can to make it right (even if it is after 30 days.) I have never had a problem with a CD that stopped working if it worked originally.
Warning: CD-R media are delicate
and must be handled properly. I will not replace media damaged due to neglect. Please read
this section for information on the care of
compact disk media.
Note: The warranty information
above refers to the media and delivery of the Disk Edition only. No warranty is provided
on the contents of the Disk Edition. Please review the Disk Edition
License Agreement for more details.
