Upon System Receipt

In order to protect yourself, there are some key things you should do as soon as you receive your new PC. Delaying these can cause difficulties to increase later on. It's always best to discover any problems with your system or order as soon as you can.

In this section I discuss some of the steps you should take as soon as your PC arrives. This includes inspecting the packaging and its contents upon arrival, setting up your new PC, and thoroughly testing it. I also discuss buyer's remorse, a common emotional reaction after buying a new PC.
