There's No Business, Like Show Business...

Computer shows are one of the "big secrets" of the computer world. A very small percentage of the computer-buying public knows the great opportunities that exist at computer shows to get hardware and software at prices that really cannot be beat. However, with opportunity comes risk, and to get the most of a computer show you need to know how they work. It also helps to learn about some of the pitfalls from someone who has been to many of them, so you can avoid them yourself...

Now, before you start booking a plane ticket to Las Vegas, realize that we are not talking about computer industry trade show here. Shows like COMDEX are primarily designed for industry manufacturers to showcase new hardware and software products. They can be a lot of fun of course, but we are talking about a very different animal here...
